Building Permit Procedures

BUILDING PERMIT: Owner's signature and $100 deposit or the actual permit cost, whichever is less, is required. You will be contacted by the building department when the permit is ready and the total amount due. If you have any questions, call 997-6308 or e-mail [email protected]. OCCUPANCY PERMIT: is required before the business opens. Application is to be completed and delivered to Ladue City Hall. No fee is due. Call 314-997-6308, a minimum of 48 hours prior to the day you are ready for an inspection. Note: Final inspection on a building permit must be done before the occupancy inspection.

SIGN PERMIT: The building owner or lessee and applicant's signatures are required on application. Two sets of plans are needed (site plan and a descriptive drawing of the sign). Effective January 1, 2009, a $100.00 fee is charged for all sign applications, except temporary signs.
